Operation: Wife's B-day
I ended up getting my wife a gag gift for her birthday of a Cox International Xena's "Pink Panther".
My wife is always giving me heck for buying engines, this time I bought her one Except I swapped out the backplate for a stunt tank so now it will be Suzanne's "Pink Panther"
I'll take some pics when she gets it. Hopefully I can get her to run it on the test stand Her birthday is this Saturday.

She is getting some other things, but I've laid it on thick for this engine
Re: Operation: Wife's B-day
I figured out how not to share the pic with our iPhones, so she won't know
Re: Operation: Wife's B-day
Put it down inside the wife gift,,then when she open it exclaim "how in the heck did that get in there?"
Better yet,,find a large cloth covered clamshell jewelry box,,,big bow holding it closed.

Your the man Travis!
Good idea, my wife is a sucker for anything Pink. I just might do the same thing.

Well she made me give it to her early. She did get a good laugh. I think she liked the card I made a whole lot better.

Did you give her a nice set of topwater fishing lures as well?

Yep, stuff to keep her busy in the kitchen. How 'bout a new vacuum cleaner to top it off.WingingIt74 wrote:Does a stove and dishwasher count?

She has a new one already

Joke for the day:
A drunken man returned home after any evening out with the boys.
His wife met him at the door with a broom in her hand.
He then asked: "Aren't you done cleaning yet or are you flying somewhere?"

Actually she thought it was funny, we both got a good laugh. My boys think its a really cool engine and think it's cool that mom has one.

I will probably make a home in my curio cabinet in the living room with my other engines

Oh that's right, your 6 year old son doesn't have one... Hmm, you should get him one of those Cox engine paperweights that show up every so often LOL!

Wait until your kids turn 16 and complain because you haven't bought them a car.
What then Sherlock?
Will their whing pay off??????? It CAN become epidemic if you are too easy on them.
My forty-six year old son has told me he didn't realize how smart I was until he got older.

Hey, Travis, were you the forum member that was resurrecting a Jeep type vehicle? If so, is that it? Maybe I'm having a false memory, seems like I remember a thread from last year about a rebuild project.
