Cox Engine of The Month
My Break...
My Break...
I have taken a break from CEF, Cox engines, and pretty much everything airplane related lately, and will continue to do so for a while. Have not had a lot of free time since the move, with school starting, and having to go out of town.
Gotta get my priorities straight...
I will try to send in an entry or two for both of the upcoming races, even if I don't get the chance to fine-tune them.
Happy Flying

Matt:
CECF has been pretty slow of late as it gets at times as regulars drop away.
I would encourage you to drop-in from time to time in order to keep our forum going.
We ALL have priorities but don't let them overwhelm your enjoyment of life.
Kind regards,

Good for you Matt.
If you ever do get an irrepressible urge to fly any time, let me know and we can give it a quick rip and burn up an hour or two. Your place or mine.

Hey Matt,
Sorry for my goofy hijack of your post. I was zipping through the office, and just skimmed it...missing the gest entirely. Good deal that you're taking care of your responsibilities!
Have a good Fall Season, and best withes on setting up at your new digs!

Re: My Break...
Take your time Matt! I hope to see you around soon.
Yeah I have been noticing it slowing down lately. I personally have been very busy for the last month. I have sitting most of the day in the hospital as my grandma has been recovering from almost dieing from a blood infection. Collage, homework, work around the house... I just have been very busy lately. I have noticed that every once in awhile, the forum slows way down for a few days and then usually starts to pick up again. Its also transitioning from the fall more into winter like weather for most of the country so people may be taking a little break before they start to work on models and engines.

Hey Matt,
Good on you for being so responsible. Just keep in mind you are only young once and take some time out to be a kid once and a while. You only get one shot at doing it right.

Re: My Break...
The 9th grade is the hardest of all the high school years.

Re: My Break...
I found my 9th and 10th grade years to be awful. 10th more so than 9th. Freshman year was just finding my place in high school with all of the new people. We have 4 schools combing into one High School. I came from the school the gets looked down on quite a bit. Too many times people have stopped talking to me just because they found out where I went to school. These made making new friends a little difficult. Sophomore year was bad mainly because no one seems to give a hoot about them. Teachers care about the Freshman because they are new. Seniors are top priority for obvious reasons. Juniors are high on the list because of getting college applications in. Sophomores are just not cared about much. And student's grades reflect that. So, mainly you just have to brute through those two years. After them it gets a lot easier. Really helps to prioritize your time. Work first, play later.
