Running Lines
What would you guys suggest for hooking the lines up, both to the plane and to the handle?
I'm hoping to fly my Top Gun this weekend, weather permitting. Depending how comfortable I am, I might get the SST out as well.

Re: Running Lines
You might try something like these SKU: LINCLIP from Cox International. I use and like them.
For this weekend I suggest fishing tackle small snap-swivels.

Re: Running Lines
I just buy the smallest size of snap swivels from the fishing gear section of the hardware store, and cut off the swivels. You might even be able to buy the snaps without the swivels.

Re: Running Lines
At one time the AMA suggested avoiding fishing swivels, don't know if they do now. Good idea to just use the clip...saves a lot of weight.
I would suggest looking at Cox International, SIG, Brodak, and perhaps the Perfect company to see what is available. Buy good stuff, they last a long time. I am still using Perfect 1/2A line clips I bought in the mid fifties (year, not age ).
