Hello, welcome to the forum!
You have a SureStart .049! If it has a brass driveplate, it would be considered a "pusher". These engines were used in all the latest Cox models and they were available as the engine alone from Cox. I always hope to find stuff like this from thrift stores! Would you mind saying what you paid, always nice finding a deal!
I have a manual for the engine HERE

Re: What engine model do i have?
$5 is a great price! The glow head on it is worth at least that. These usually sell for about $10-15 with new ones being sold by Matt from Ex Model Engines and Bernie from Cox International for $24. From 2005 to 2008, Estes who owned Cox were selling these engines for $6.99 each in hopes to sell off all their stock. Estes who are best known for their rockets bought Cox in 1996 but due to the increase in popularity of electric planes and less kids being interested in model airplanes, Estes decided to drop all the glow powered items from their catalog.

The intake tube on the backplate is a sure idenifier of a Sure-Start.
I have one on my airboat and it performs very well.
