Spotted this little oldie in the January '64 issue of M.A.N....off in a corner of a page with no title. Nothing new, for sure, but figured I'd post it. Might adapt well to the more "Expendable" plastic backplates and allow getting around drilling holes in a metal tank.

It would be the same setup as if you drilled a hole in the tank, perhaps a bit neater mod though. On the other hand tanks are still plentiful and would negate messing with the backplate also less likely to kink. Still a cool mod though. Thanks for sharing Kim!

Hey, you're welcome ! I just like reading these "Hints & Tips" from back in the day. I like the way guys would come up with ideas that, like the hardware at the time, were new and a lot more "Shade Tree" !
