Cox Engine of The Month
Oh Bugger It

Oh Bugger It
Recieved new head for my newly acquired TeeDee 010 from Cox International today, yippee, great service. Rushed down stairs to workshop to try and run my 010 for the first time. Guess what, got side tracked for 5mins. went back to workshop, head gone. Why they so small, why do I like small engines.
Spent the morning tearing appart worshop, still no head. Oh bugger, oh well. Cox International here I come again. well I do like your stickers.
Cheers

Sounds like me. That head is right there in front of you somewhere. Did you pick through the trash can?

This condition is known as a "reverse hallucination".
You are NOT seeing something that IS there.

Just get out your aluminum magnet and sweep it across the floor.
You do have an aluminum magnet, don't you?

Panic over, head found. During my 5 minute side track I helped my Son check the oil in his car (new driver and Dad wants to help) I'd only left it on top the battery under the bonnet of his car. He'd only been out driving all day, and it was still there!!! Phew.
I must have known I needed a spare. Today, get my new baby running.

This happens to me all the time! I'll be messing with something and then get sidetracked by something else and then I'll have to spend an hour looking through the basement looking for it. But that's not surprising if you ever seen my basement.

I have a ghost where I live that leaves cabinet doors open and hides my medicine bottles occasionally.

Re: Oh Bugger It
I can't walk around to the other side of the table to get a tool without losing whatever I was going to use it on. I drop things too. I'm glad y'all can't see me puttering around my shop, you'd all surely be convinced I'm a hopeless moron. Despite myself, I usually, somehow, get the job done.Admin wrote:This happens to me all the time!
