It is industry standard these days to on-line research new hires via Google, Facebook, Linkedin, etc. When we hire, we Google short-listed applicants. It's fairly superficial; only looking for serious issues such as theft, employer slander, etc. However, that is as far as we go as we believe that it is reprehensible to monitor employee's private lives.

As to our upcoming Facebook page, it was actually our employee's idea to launch such and she is in charge of this Hand Shake

Facebook is part of Inbound Marketing strategy. We just never got to it before due to time-constraints but since Miriah volunteered to set this up ... sunny
