That is true, I know somebody who had that happen to him.

It is industry standard these days to on-line research new hires via Google, Facebook, Linkedin, etc. When we hire, we Google short-listed applicants. It's fairly superficial; only looking for serious issues such as theft, employer slander, etc. However, that is as far as we go as we believe that it is reprehensible to monitor employee's private lives.

As to our upcoming Facebook page, it was actually our employee's idea to launch such and she is in charge of this

Facebook is part of Inbound Marketing strategy. We just never got to it before due to time-constraints but since Miriah volunteered to set this up ...

We are progressing from "Stone Age" to the "Internet Age". Next thing ya know we'll have a website

Thanks Rusty. Miriah has already shut down her workstation (that's where the Facebook emails go) but we will look at them in the morning.

Friends" is only for personal accounts and ours is a business one.
