Yes, I've had similar effects when the camera flash decided to go off even though the sun was shining!

Yeah...but REALLY EXCITING..as the prop melts away...and the engine's speed approaches Critical Mass !!!!!!

What kind of needle valve is that? Looks sorta like a Super Tigre assembly.

Yep, Wilf hit it on the head. Daylight exposure
time with flash.
The prop is a Cox grey 4.5-2. Cool, but not ice. Smoking
Glad you guys liked the shot. Taste for the unusual-like me.
George, the backplate is an old KustomKraftmanship with
128 tpi needle and collet lock. I wish there were more of
them around. Sad
