Re: Introducing the new Cox International "Xtreme" engine
Thanks Jason and you may choose any # between 2 and 99. If we don't hear back by Monday PM we will ship #2 (#1 went into my personal collection and #100 is going to a buyer who spends well over 3k with us per year and who has bought every single engine we ever offered)
Re: Introducing the new Cox International "Xtreme" engine
#2 will work. The X-mas bee I got from Matt is also #2.

Re: Introducing the new Cox International "Xtreme" engine
Thanks Jason & Joe, #2 and #3 are reserved for you.
Cribbs, the #'s are about 300-500 RPM higher than the Venom II and that is due to the head conversion; which really increases compression to the point that we supply the engine with 3 glow head gaskets for break-in.
Posting exact #'s makes little sense as peak RPM's will vary from engine to engine due to differences in parts tolerances. As well, fuel, prop, elevation, temperature, etc will all make a difference.
My test engine ran at 19,000 +/- 200 with Sig 25 Champion (2 year old fuel) and a black 5x3 Cox 049 prop. If I have time I will run another test or two on the weekend.

Don't forget the girls. You need to have a bunch of "Hooters" type girls wearing the t-shirts and little red shorts going around handing out all the free swag at flying fields all around North America and Western Europe. I highly recommend concentrating heavily on S. W. Fla., U.S.A. !!!
Just a thouoght,
Bob
