I love diesel power, my cars for the last 15 years have mostly been Dr D's creations but boy if you thought glow was noisy, Messy and SMELLY.......

How dare you, Sir! the smell of diesel is the classic aroma of British aeromodelling!
Back in the Golden Years, no-one would be seen dead with a GLOW engine! (Unless you were a stunt flyer!)

Have a look at the 2 utubes and let me know what if any thing I should be doing differently.

Maybe up the comp a little then fiddle around with the needle until needle until you get a more steady sound and near peak RPM.
If you want to fly it, don't have it running at peak needle or compression setting on the ground as these increase in the air.

I did think of bunging it in the OT which I think would be ideal but (don't tell Wilf) it reeks too much for me to contemplate
driving home with that in the car.
