As Mr Shelby Probably said
"there's no replacement for DisplacemenT"
So
Before
During
After
Possibly the MOST over engine'd plane I have
Well we'll know in a hour or so.......

Nicely done, JB.
Try not to drive it in too hard, as them backplate are hard to find.

By themselves yes, Pee Wee's with good backplates are pretty common. Just ask Jason.
John, let us know how it turns out. I wonder what the difference in power is? Rotary as opposed to reed valve. I suppose the next step would be TD .020.

Re: Raw Power Too
Built mine today with an AE .2cc, hope to maiden it tomorrow.
It has a 5x3 prop on it.
Was going to put a gmark .03 on there, may still do so of the power is not enough
Thanks again to Will from FMK for the fabulous kit and the glue included!

XLNT Ma Man you'll have a blast.
I forgot mine needed running in and I still need to figure out how many gaskets which is why the revs were all
over the place but you can see a little rocket when she comes on song.

Very nice John, you could try a gmark for throttle if you wanted.John Goddard wrote:XLNT Ma Man you'll have a blast.

Re: Raw Power Too
Well I've got the throttle ring for the 020 but I don't think
I'm going to add any more weight it's at 140 grams with
The Pee Wee. Once the engine's needling well I think
It'll be a lot of fun.

Re: Raw Power Too
Hey, I logged about 5 flights with mine today and it flew GREAT until I got a but brave an tried rudder rolls, not high up enough and smacked it on the floor, wing firstJohn Goddard wrote:Well I've got the throttle ring for the 020 but I don't think

In the process of repairing it.
I also had time to try out the clan .24cc with an RC carb on it and it idled pretty low and transitioned well.
So maybe I will put that on it soon.
Re: Raw Power Too

These FMK's are resilient little so and so's
Mine bounced a couple a times today.
Killed the elevator servo the second time
Nuffin wrong with the airframe.

Yeah they really are tough and great fun in the park. Mine had some damage to covering and the tail surface came apart.John Goddard wrote:Looking forward the update Indra.

Also a few fuzz cracks but nothing that couldn't be fixed in like 20 mins.
Will do the rest when I get time.
And maybe next flight I will bring a cameras man or girl or the head mount and fisheye lense.
