Cox Engine of The Month
Cheers to Brits.

Cheers to Brits.
I just read this and found it interesting. A recent study found that the average Briton walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Britons drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Britons get about 41 miles to the gallon! Makes you proud to be British.

I've been 'on the wagon' for a month now, my 'gas' mileage must be going thru the roof.
Unfortunately the English brewery association has had to issue a profit warning
I may have to help them out again sooooooooooooooooooooooon

Re: Cheers to Brits.
lol cool I reckon I walk a lot more, 2 miles evey working day and then on weekend days maybe 5 a day and then when I go for a run maybe once a week I another five miles.
So that's about 1300.
Then cycling 10 miles a day on week days and maybe a small weekend cycle is about.
Is a lot lol probably a bit over 2500 with the cyclotron included, all on a fixed gear.
Wow that reall sounds a lot lol.
Then snowboarding, well in the 3 weeks I was in Canada I did roughly 20km a day (had a tracking gps thingy) so 20x20=400 so 400km in 3 weeks
So that's about 1300.

That's amazing for a hundred and twenty year old guy. You should call the news networks, maybe one of them will give you a segment on health and aging.nitroairplane wrote:lol cool I reckon I walk a lot more, 2 miles evey working day and then on weekend days maybe 5 a day and then when I go for a run maybe once a week I another five miles.

They're real gallons too .jsesere wrote:I just read this and found it interesting. A recent study found that the average Briton walks about 900 miles a year. See if you can find the stats for the Northern Territory in Oz.
There'll be a lot more gallons and lot fewer miles walked.
