[Sold] Pee Wee .020
She goes to eBay Sunday!
Awesome compression, near perfect tank. ( a very small scratch) Backplate lugs are great. No cracks. Excellent cylinder and glow head including fins.
$35.00 includes shipping to the USA. International is extra.

That's a nice early one. Why do you want to let it go?

I would like to keep it, but I already have three of them and I need to pay for other projects. I might have to let my Norvel go too.

What's the strange mark on the crankcase?

One of those pics looked like she was leaking a puddle of green antifreeze.
What kind of Norvel do you have? Did you buy it new?

Those are marks from a tooling fixture when performing many of the different operations while machining.
If you look close at the 020/049 reed valve bar stock crankcase over the years they all have these marks. The early ones are a little more like 'rounded rectangles'

Ah, you are right, my engines have them too. I haven't thought about it before until they now showed up so clearly in the image.

Re: [Sold] Pee Wee .020
I have never seen the marks before. They don't look like scratches to me.
I have a Norvel RC .061 "AMA" version. I got it used in a lot. Nothing wrong with it.

It's factory toolmarks, nothing to worry about, I just hadn't thought about them before...
