for sell, 3 parts baby bees. and other cox parts
hello, i have 3 baby bee engines that need parts (tank rebuild kits, and prop spinners) and parts for these engines like needle valves with springs and back plate screws.
these are parts engines that include everything except for the reed valve, glow head, and they need a tank rebuild kit and prop screws and spinners. I am asking $15.00 obo,
i am asking $2 for a complete set of 5cc tank screws and a needle valve.
make any offers, i will be posting pics when i can get my camera working. engines have good compression
i am selling because i need the money so i can pay back my uncle for a hpi 30.5cc rc car engine i bought from him

and one TeeDee .051 complete with everything for $30 obo, this engine is perfect, i mean no cracks in the carb body and good compression. It comes with a new 5x3 yellow prop that i got from Bernie at cox international, and a almost new spinner

Dear engine049,
O.K. and thanks for your reply. I'll keep looking and hoping. I went to the website for coxengineforum. Frankly, I'm not much of a joiner. It seems like everything requires that one join this or that or some other thing. What the heck are they afraid of? That somebody might steal their business out from under their nose? Or is it their way of gaining a "captive" market? That's pretty limiting if you ask me. Thanks again, Steve

Dear engine049,
One thing I would really like to get my hands on is a Cox Tee Dee .051 piston and cylinder assembly. I've haunted all the Cox dealers and no-one seems to have any such animal in captivity. How about you? I have a .051 but the conrod is broken at the crankshaft end. I have managed to get my hands on a piston but I need to lap the cylinder to make it work. Extremely tight at the top of the stroke. I can't see any way to remove the conrod without destroying the piston. I have a tool for tightening the rod once it's installed but, heck, I don't even have an .049 rod (which I'm sure would work.) Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks and regards, Steve !@#$%

051
Only way to find an .051 p/l is to get a whole engine. I just sold one to a friend for $35.00. I was going to list it here but he had need for it.
