GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MAD AT GIRLFRIEND
She got https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhG9hKiplfQ Stuck in my head.
Especially the part "I'm Especially good at expectorating!"
And I use "Antlers in all of my de-co-rations!"
LOL though I would share. Not actually mad.

Re: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MAD AT GIRLFRIEND
Its Gastons' song. She got it stuck in my head. the part when Gaston sings "I'm especially good at expectorating" and "I use antlers in all of my decorations." Those parts are stuck in my head.
Have you ever watched Beauty and the Beast Microflite? If not you should watch it. That an Aladdin, Tarzan especially amazing becasue phil collins music, (Pinocchio sucks waste of time) All dogs go to heaven The list goes on. Little mermaid is pretty good. Little mermaid return to the ocean was lame.

Oh.... It got stuck in your head. Sorry, read it wrong.
Yep, I watched all of those.

Re: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MAD AT GIRLFRIEND
I hate it when that happens. I get the stupidest songs stuck in my head off and on for days. I have to find it and hear it to purge it from my auto-rewinding head.

Yeah, I hear you guys loud and clear.
I used to do a lot of community theatre, mostly crew work.
Every musical had at least one tune that would bore into your
brain and stay there for months. Mind you, between rehearsals
and shows, you would hear those songs several dozen times.
One of the worst(and it's still imbeded years later), is
"The Pick-a-little Song" from The Music Man. It's still killing me!!!!!!!!ARGH!

Re: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MAD AT GIRLFRIEND
Rusty, I think based on our relative age differences, (you are about midway between 049 and myself) you would be pretty safe to click on that link. I did and all it did for me was to remind me of the scene in Blazing Saddles where the crew was reprimanded for jumping around “like a bunch of Kansas City faggots”.RknRusty wrote:Noooo, I'm not clicking on that. On the other hand you are probably too young to get hooked on such old classics as "Barbara Allen", (an English ballad dating back to the 1700’s). The final lines following the description of the lover’s burial and a rose springing from his grave and a brier from hers can really get to you: (sob, sniff).
“They grew onto the church wall until they could not grow any higher,
There they formed a lovers knot, the rose bush and the brier.”
You have to hear it to appreciate it .

Re: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MAD AT GIRLFRIEND
With ya' big Al! We lived through the age before political correctness and what a hoot it was! (I'm only slightly your junior)
Mel Brooks's "Blazing Saddles" was a classic in satire with Clevon Little as the Sheriff.
BTW, I recently found a link to the old "All in the Family" TV series with Archie Bunker (Caroll O'Connor), Jean Stapleton, (Edith) Rob Reiner "Meathead" and Sally Strothers (Gloria). The PC crowd didn't get the "humor" that "Arch" was actually mocking Conservatives by playing the bigot.
Seems Americans have forgotten how to laugh anymore.

"Blazing Saddles" one of my favorites.
"work work work, work work work, work work work"
"I didn't get a harrumph outta that guy!"
So many lines carved out of that movie and still used today.

Keith:
Somewhere I have the unedited "Blazings Saddles" on VHS. So much was "cut out" by the editors.

Dave What's a VHS?
I'm kidding of course. I have a growing collection of 250+ vhs's I refuse to buy a dvd. Every movie they made after dvd came is generally garbage.
