So a UNF 1-72, less exotic than my BA one Laughing

I'll look for that type of screw or die at 1-72.

As we says: it's better one who know than ten who search, thanks ffkiwi.

apropos to this-you'd have a better chance of finding rocking horse droppings than an 11BA screw in any case-anywhere you looked-even in the UK. Seriously though-I'd suggest you do what I intend to-take a steel 1-72 screw of the appropriate length, spin it up in a lathe and machine the taper according to the measurements already given in previous replies.....it then becomes entirely a matter of personal preference what you do about the knob end....a fat stubby one (what I intend to do...) or machine up a serrated edge narrow disc, and tap that 1-72, silver solder in place and more closely match the original one.

A further hint-as I can testify to my chagrin-having advertised in vain for them here and on other fora, the supply of Fury integral heads, or even the normal glowplug insert, seem to be extinct-but what does fit the Fury is a glowhead from the later K&B Stallion 049 engine. bear that in mind should you need something in future.
