Wanted Piston/cylinder Assembly For TD 0.010
Have managed to get all the parts to build a TD 0.010 except piston/cyl
assembly. I've actually got a cylinder so piston/conrod would do at a pinch.

Then I nearly bid against you on eBay last night
.010 piston cylinder combos are rarer than hens teeth!

Re: Wanted Piston/cyl Assembly for TD 0.010
Now I think if a chap could buy all the parts except piston/cyl
for a measly £20 it's just possible that it may turn up!
Got a spare crankcase to trade too, so that might help.

You can't put a price on dreams! The model will be ready and waiting.
Can almost see it flying already.
Thanks for your help and encouragement on the wee Clan diesel,
Posted it to you today.

John,
They do pop up every few months on Ebay. You may get lucky you may not. A buddy of mine just listed a couple well used .010's and a spare cylinder and it went for over $100. .010 stuff just sells like crazy. I (we) have tried to get Bernie to reproduce the .010 cylinder sets but, it doesn't make much sense from a business standpoint.

Cool!
I will keep an eye out for .010 Piston and cylinder sets!
What would you put it on?
Re: Wanted Piston/cyl Assembly for TD 0.010
I'd finish the Tom Thumb, apparently the TD 0.010's have nearly 3/4 the
power of a pee wee. I'll finish the Tom Thumb anyway hate unfinished projects.
Or perhaps a rubber to glow conversion, I have a couple of rubber powered
candidates.
B.T.W there is a Bambi on Ebay at the moment, with poor compression and
difficult to start, in case you want a challenge.
Thanks, do keep a look out for me.

Re: Wanted Piston/cylinder Assembly For TD 0.010
Damn John I have one like that already I need a shot one with good compression
I shall watch that nonetheless.
The tee dee .010 has 3/4 the power of a tee dee .020 and is VERY close to a pee wee .020 but lighter.
A Tom thumb with a .010 even with the prop backwards would have to be slobberingly rich!
Well or diesel converted with a larger prop and low compression setting.
If I get a .010 going on diesel you will know about it.
