LOL, I think he has a bit of molt going on close in to the fuselage, not enought butrate in his diet.
He gets the landing gear out there right at the last second.

I usually get home from work around 3-4am pst. Came home one morning dark as oil out and seen a big basketball sitting in the driveway. Those dang kids!! leaving the toys out again,,I already popped there soccer ball last week. Slowed the toyota down to avoid the thing,,until that basket ball took flight. A HUGE screech owl sitting there. He cruises up past the peak of the shop,,and another big screecher takes flight from the peak of the roof.
Got the truck stopped up by the house and hopped out. Them big canary's was talking real loud. Sounds kinda like nails across the chalkboard,,but with much more emphasis.
Just about drift off to sleep then,,,SCREEEEECH!!
Anyone ever seen the movie "My cousin Vinny" with Joe Peshi, thats the owl that keeps him awake in the cabin.
