I found a used RR1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate to brag, but it's used and got it good price in the middle of the night. I'm a happy camper
I fell asleep in my chair in front of my macbook, I woke up and thought I'd see what new auctions have been posted. I was lucky, the auction was only live for 40 minutes Then I hit "Buy it Now"
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251009902063
Video of it running to come
I do need an old aluminum spinner though, if anyone has one laying around.

Nice Find Travis!
Hope it run's well for you. If you can't get the spinner from someone here you could always get one from Matt or Bernie.
Oh, and brag away, your good fortune makes us all happy.

Re: I found a used RR1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never seen one in person, let alone what they look like inside. Anything to be on the look out for or is it pretty straight forward?
Re: I found a used RR1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the one Bernie just picked up. Heck, it's your thread buddy,,lol.
a pretty good snap of it up close. It does look a bit longer like I mentoned in chat this morning when you posted it.

I took mine apart and got it back together and it STILL ran anyhow! So that means that you should be able to do the same, blindfolded, upside-down in a swimming pool !

Travis,
PM me I got one for you, you could probably also go Tee Dee spinner as well, as the last 2-3 years used that type.
Kim,
I also saw the Rivets on you're work bench along with the green Mini Stunt, nice! Those are two planes I had as a kid and always a favorite.

Nice!
If you decide to retire it or just put it on display and want to detail tank, remove it, completely clean oil off and touch it up with blue sharpie, lightly spray with quick drying clear, better then nothing.

Re: I found a used RR1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!!! That will be cool, being that I never was able to start the mini stunt (too young) and never seeing it fly, as well as seeing a Rivets airborne again would be great!!!!!
