I came across of items my dad had and I thought these were pretty neat to find. He wasn't one to buy these items and they probably were from my grandfather. The Austin Craft glue gun is pretty rare and isn't something you see. You would purchase Ambroid in pint and quart containers and use the needle point glue gun to assemble. Fill the cylinder and the plunger would take care of the rest.

The Eagle compass I thought was pretty neat. I use them with regular frequency. However, this one is neat in the box. The Wil-Kro safety razor planer is a neat tool to use. They do work, they take a bit of patience and practice but they really are neat tools. The box unfortunately is in bad shape and he taped it up which ruined it.

Last but not least is the Comet hobby knife. I wasn't even aware that Comet even made such an item. This is something I've never seen and I think it's neat. Not something I would use, just neat having a piece of history. It's very heavy and well made.

I had one -- a fellow asked to borrow it and never returned it.  I really liked it and the safety razor blades would shave a very thin sliver of balsa.

Your Wil-Kro planer reminds me of my E-xacto, a survivor from my dispersed Exacto box contents. And that nicely shaped torpedo knife reminds me of my micro drop oiler. Nice having pass-downs from your Dad.
