Re: www.adriansmodelaeroengines.com
I have bookmarked Adrian's website as he contains a lot of interesting history on engines not covered elsewhere. He also has a sense of humor, capturing this magazine article poking fun at Coxes.

From Adrian's website, Cox NSM prototype engine.

That would be the "Zero displacement engine". An article was actually published years ago showing how this sort of engine could generate power with zero stroke.

With a copy of that engine, I could fulfill my role as a conspiracy theorist model engine collector.

I thought that Cox came up with a better pulse jet engine for smaller planes?

Looks like a good approach to instill new life in wornout compressionless (there were bazillions) Testor .35 Red Heads.

Re: www.adriansmodelaeroengines.com
Forgive me for my ignorance, it is not clear to me if the COX engine really existed, so I interpret it to seem like it did, but only the prototypes were carried out, is that right?
I will thank anyone who gives me clear information, thank you!

thank you for your information!.Mark Boesen wrote:They were too hard to start and never went into production.
So the engine did exist...it would be great to see a real one with its parts - components, but that's already something impossible I think.
Thanks again!

Mauricio, algunos habían escrito esas como una broma. Several posted those as a joke. No estaba destinado a ser tomado en serio. It was not meant to be taken seriously.
