The weirdest Cox contraptions I have ever seen
Some time ago I solicited submissions for our upcoming "Customer Submissions" page and received two; whereas "different" does not accurately describe them.
Re: The weirdest Cox contraptions I have ever seen

I'm thinking Bernie just got creative with his Cox "stickies". He has whole bunch.

Nah, not me.
I was telling my wife about the page we were creating and she made these things and gave them to me as one of my wedding anniversary presents.

What would one of those things actually do? Shoot up and then fall like a rock? Good way to break in (or lose) a new engine.

I DO Believe that Bernie's wife has a sense of humor and created them as a gag for an anniversary gift. At least that's what Bernie said in his above post.

Re: The weirdest Cox contraptions I have ever seen
I would not dare run the things
Having said that, as a kid, I remember once fuelling up a Babe Bee, hoding it in my left hand whilst starting it with my right hand.
Once the thing was screaming along af full power I pointed the prop upward and let go.
Once the noise in the sky stopped and after seaching for the better part of an hour, I decided that putting in an extra shift on my flyer route was the way to go if I wanted a new engine.

Yeah, she colluded with my employee, who is responsible for maintaining inventory records. I knew they were up to no good when they stopped talking as I walked into the stock room one day.
I "Xenalubed" the beasts and they are hanging in my home office:

Okay I don't know why but I find those little things insanely cool!
