Big Phil says whatever 'they' all say the gears have to be twice as thick and hardened.

Good Link Indra,

It looks all well and good, in the RC universe thread the builder said it's more of a novelty engine and I imagine the power output would be less than an .09 due to the increased friction/load. I wonder though if you used some "hot" .049's if it wouldn't be a good runner? Using the KB backplates to run an external tank and the new #4 cylinders, 5 fin hot insert heads or maybe the throttled backplates. I may try this down the road. I guess I should find a small lathe! Would it spin fast enough to make use of the SPI? Hmmm..

Cool stuff!

1+ lol I love hoe the guy is like "Hey guys-I remember the swap shop at Toledo in 1970(the year my eyes opened) where a gentleman had FOR SALE hand- built engines using Cox parts arranged in flat twin and v-twin configurations built on stock Cox crankcases! As I recall, the price on these jewels was out of my price range, being in the $25 to $30 range! A week's pay for a little motor? Outrageous! Anybody with a CNC machine should be able to knock these out on his lunch hour. JIM "

I know a few really High dollar names in cnc. The notion of making less than 70-400 an hour takes then nauseou Rich bastaz, Then it never ceases to amaze me how much free work people put into this hobby such a dedicated following!
