Cox Engine of The Month
What is this plane ?

Re: What is this plane ?
The plane is a Mitchell B-25. Not sure of the kit or plane manufacturer. Looks to have Cox engines and props.

Re: What is this plane ?
It looks like the plane I had years ago. The Mitchell B-25 that Cox and Testors made together back in the 1970's.
Mine lasted about 2 crashes. The thing shattered into pieces. You glued it back together with Testors' model "plastic" cement.
The same glue you used to assemble their plastic cars, trucks, planes, etc.
Whom ever bought this never flew it!
The elevator control was iffy.
Using a little up or down and the plane was either going to crash into the asphalt or go skyward and come down on your head.
When you had plane on the up side of the wind the lines would go slack on you until you were on the down side of the wind.
No offset (engines or rudder) to keep the lines tight.
Not even having the line back on the tip of the wing to have the plane point outward?
I took the engines and repurposed them to better U-control planes.

Re: What is this plane ?
It looks to be made of plastic and not a balsa stick to be visible on it?

Re: What is this plane ?
One of my fried wrote to the seller to ask. Seller said it is a balsa plane.
"Hi yes this is made of balsa wood and covered in rice paper then paint. The motors would take fuel and the plane connects to a line the operator could make it fly up or down to land. Control line airplanes."
