My daughter had her Dauchund put down yesterday. I argued against it, Mark supported and went with her to the Vet's. I couldn't. Perhaps I kept Spike around too long losing him about six months ago. Mark and Terri brought him to the Vet's.

I fully understand how you feel. I've had my dog since she would fit in my cupped hands. She's 14, still spry, active and my constant companion, but I realize her future is shorter than I would hope.
