TD .051 question
The used Cox TD .051 that I just got from Kim as a 2 stamped on the left mouting lug.
What does the 2 indicate? (#2 cylinder)?
Thanks,

Super Dave,
This topic came up yesterday, posted by John Goddard. Mudhen answered and said it was to denote a change in the crank assemblies and the 2 told the employees what crankcase to mate the new crank to.

Also, if it's a true .051 it will be a #5 cylinder and you can find that stamped into one of the flats on the exhaust ports. (very small)

Ron:
Thanks!
I loooked and yes it does a 5 stamped on the flat. I believe that the engine is of Cox manufacture rather than Estes although I'm told they look idential.
