Wilf's post got me thinking.

Found my old Cox Champion Thimble-Drone race car in an old forgotten toy box. Also found my Cox Champion "Hot Rod" Roadster but all it needs is some "touch up" work.

Need a source of the cast grille, exhaust header, hand brake, fire extinguisher plus one front rubber tire.

Thanks for any replies.

Any leads on parts much appreciated. "Old 96" just might live again!

Dave,

I know your not a big Ebay fan but, most if not all of those things mentioned are available new on Ebay. Just punch thimble drome into the search and they will come up. Maybe you can contact the seller and have him work offline like you prefer.

Probably a "long shot" finding these parts so will do further research. Thanks for the suggestions.

I got these cars as promotions when I was a paperboy and sold subscriptions MANY years ago. They'll look great in my Cox collection when brought back to original condition. Very Happy
