Engine Display Stands - Coming Soon!
Happy New Year All!
This has been a much requested item from many of our customers: a simple engine display stand that is made from aluminum for those collectors that want to display their more sought after types that do not have boxes. The stands will include all black hardware (below is standard for illustration purposes only) for assembly and mounting.
The initial configurations available will be for Tee Dee / Medallion .049 engines anodized in red as well as reed valve .049 engines, also in red. Future configurations may be available for 010, 020, and other 049 engines using the same configuration stye shown below. New stands may be also considered for other sized Tee Dee engines larger than .049/.051.

Wow! I'm not much of a display stand fan, but these are
pretty slick, Matt.

If not too late the TeeDee base needs rounded corners like the bee stand

Thanks guys!
The Tee Dee stand will not have rounded corners, at least during the initial version.

Those look real sweet, both with those engines and sosam 117’s!
I’d buy one for my prized queen bee

I'm hoping to have the Tee Dee .049/.051 ones up later today and will post a link.
The reed valve variety will be a little later as I still have to finish up the drilling for the mounting holes.
Re: Engine Display Stands - Coming Soon!
I noticed Sosam 117 said you could use them as test stands? I don't think that would bee a good idea, and i seen were there is NO mention of that on your site .

These are now available:
http://www.exmodelengines.com/product.php?productid=18458&cat=0&featured=Y
In regards to using them as a test stand, I believe you could since they are all aluminum construction, but that was not the original intent. If one was to do so a couple of bolts would probably do the trick.

The stand that I got from Matt had the threads deep enough, and If you use Allen head screws (hardened) it will work as an engine test stand.
It worked well for my custom Cox .51 in my heated garage -- clamped down in the vice.
Thanks Matt!
Here is my engine mounted as an engine test stand:
It can be a nice stand for Enya 049 or .06 engines. ( with a little work)
