Knob Style Sandblaster Engine disassembly
I was unable to find the answer via the search function.
I need to replace the engine black plate with the postage stamp style backplate as seen in the photos.
Before I gorilla a clean engine, any suggestions how to do this properly? Unfortunately the pull style engine rebuild instructions do not address this style of engine.
Thanks

i get the old muffler
RNajarian: If you don't need the old muffler i need one. LOL.
p.s. the postage stamp backplate looks like a 128tpi needle assy. be sure to NOT try a 78tpi needle as it will cross thread and ruin both.
And slowly is the answer to proceeding on cleaning the engine and use at least 1 glove as the fuel does a job on skin, drying it out. i use rubber glove $5.00 for 250.

Good thing I posted here because I never even considered the issue of different thread needle valves.
I need to pick up a 128 tpi needle valve.

you have the valve, i have the needle. if it is a 128tpi. I have a picture of a fuel tank also. might as well show it here. was looking for something else, but found this.
looks like an ounce or more. I need to clean it has a noise, tink, tink, could be loose gunk, or ??
If you need it, I most likely have it if is .049 Cox related.
hang on iceman, I'm coming.
