A wealth of 3D parts and more from Jason
I am not sure how I have deserved it but Jason did an unparalleled and hard-to-return gesture to me: the postman delivered today a never-seen-before wealth of goodies from Jason that included 3D backplates for PeeWees (one even complete with the engine), several 3D Carl Goldberg mounts for red postage stamp 190-s, and 3D beam mount 049 reedy backplates of which one immediately had one of my Tarno carbs behind and my Lynx in front of it..
Several sets of engine mounting bolts and unobtainium-in-Hungary, US-thread round internal hex head prop screws completed the package..
I tested the PeeWee with the 3D backplate as well as the Tarno carb on the beam mount. All I can say is they work superbly. The quality of the 3D items is just beautiful. Jason even printed my CEF name on the side of the PeeWee mounts...
Jason I am embarrassed and cannot thank you this generosity enough...it opens up new ways of experimenting with these parts...
I hesitated whether I should write here about it for fears someone might find it bragging...but I thought I should share my joy with the CEF team and openly thank Jason for the presents he gave me..

Thanks to all of you for your kind reactions...yes this forum is very unique with members showing unrivaled generosity and cameradery to fellow members, often even without ever meeting each other..this is very rare in a materialistic world with individuals in general getting more and more suspicious, and selfish..at least this is my observation on my part of the world.
I wish I could return somehow all the physical and non-tangible presents that you, fellow members on his site have given to me..

Andras
The return is:
running an engine, flying a plane , writing, photos, history, exploits, vacations, dreams, wishes.....my country has a scant 230 +/- history...Hungry has well over 1000 years. Both countries good times and bad...the more we learn--- perhaps the more we can try not to relive the bad times
We all are better off for knowing our Global neighbors
I was fortunate to visit many countries ....most CEF have never left the USA

Thank you Fred..Hungary, albeit with more than 1000 years of history, is just a small spot on the face of Earth compared to e.g. the USA and I am glad if our humble historical and cultural resources are of some interest to other nationalities.
I have had the privilage to travel around the world and have been to many places I would love to return without any hesitation, and ANY state of the USA remain high on the list of my favorite destinations..

Andràs
Thanks for getting more interest in the postage stamp mounts. I was finishing up a new order of PeeWee backplates for Bernie and asked him if he would include a few items for you when you ordered from him. They went to Canada first then to you.
Hopefully you can make use of the beam mount backplates. I’m still working on the design yet. They don’t quite fit in the firewall or tank mounts so I need to fix that.
I’ve been buying broken and busted up peewees on eBay and have been putting my 3D printed backplates on them. It only takes a few minutes to change the text on the side of the backplate and send to the printer.
Enjoy the parts. Thanks guys for the compliments.

Andras, that is awesome! Not a surprise to see that kind of generosity from Jason. I got a set of backplates and mounts from Jason a few weeks ago that I need to setup and run now that the weather is getting nice.
Looks like some hot little engines there!

Jason,
thanks, I forgot to mention, and special thanks to Bernie for hosting your package in his envelop carrying my last order placed with him...the PeeWee you sent me may have come to you as a busted donor as you said, but it has as-new compression and perfect ball-joint fit, so that engine with your 3D backplate - having my name imprinted on it - is my special favorit.
Regarding the TeeDee 3D mount, I had to remove some material from the TeeDee stool on Bernie's COX engine bench before it sat firmly on its beams, that otherwise are in a perfect match with the stock TeeDee beam mounting holes. (Sorry I did not mount it in its place again for this photo, but with the mounting bolts removed from the bench, it will drop in place ...)
