(For Trade) Tee Dee .051 for Space Hopper
(For Trade) I'm still pursuing a Space Hopper in good condition, in trade for a New Tee Dee .051 plus some bucks to even out the deal. I think the .051 is NIB. I've had it for a pretty good while, parked in the back of my engine drawer (believe it was a gift), and have never put it on a plane. The piston DOES have a curious, raised "dot" whose cause I'm not aware.
It's wrenches are gone, but the instruction sheet is still there and the box is in fair to good shape. A price tag on it's back lists it for $30.99 from "Advance Office Supply & Hobbies".
If you have a Space Hopper in good shape (I don't need the papers or box) that you might care to trade, please PM me !
Thanks !

Re: (For Trade) Tee Dee .051 for Space Hopper
I've seen those on pistons before and never really thought about it, now you got me wondering if those were left on to help ID a .051 piston?

They are also on .049 pistons...

I'm going to pop the top off a couple more engines this afternoon to see if I've got any more pistons with this "thing". When i first saw it, I wondered if, at some point, I'd made it that way by resetting the piston, but don't think I've ever messed with this engine.
We need to fire up the spotlight with the Mudhen silhouette on it's lens, and point it at the clouds !
