You have a clunk/line tuning fork issue with the vibrations. Some foam under the tank and rubber bands to hold it in place. The zip tie holding it down will transfer vibrations as well.
Once the tank is insulated better,, it might pick up some more.
It's only vibrating the fuel at the pickup, not else where in the tank. I didn't know if the fuel surges in the line like AC current?? I'll move the tank off the mount to see if it changes tonight.

Run #3:
Had my son Brandon hold the fuel tank, no vibration in the tank. I also had my fastest run.

Excellent!, that's twisting pretty good . You might have been putting some foamed/bubbles up that line as it vibrated in the tank, like a tuning fork.

Holy Cow! I changed the head to the 5-fin from CoxInternational and added for a total of 4 spacers.
Evened out at 20,7xx - 20,864 and maxed when it ran out of fuel at 21,069

There was one in the last one......
I think it was unintentional though.
Not sure what the rules state. The difference between the two is so minute.
I bet if he popped on a .049 cylinder assy the numbers would be the same.

Probably not, you would need to carefully select a very good fitting cylinder and piston. Looks like he has a good one.

Probably get higher RP with a stiffer prop, or maybe less

You've already topped everyone in the Tach Race.

Re: 051 Killer Widow
I bet it would run a tad faster without that sticker on it. At that speed it's really affecting the balance. Kind of tough on the rotating assembly.
But, That video makes me feel good about the pair of Killer Bees I plan to build this coming flying season. I just bought a couple of those heads from Cox International, one red and one silver.

Re: 051 Killer Widow
I posted this in Bernie's yellow prop thread, but just one concern. That sticker is affecting the balance at speeds like that and is fairly rough on the rotating assembly. It might run faster and smoother... not that it's not now. Very nice job putting that one together. Did you do any polishing? And how did the piston/cylinder feel when it was brand new, tight at the top, or pretty loose? I'm planning to build a pair of Killer Bees this season.
Hmmm, I see my post was moved. Oh well, they're a little different.

The CI sticker. I didn't realize it had a reflector on it. That can't be avoided when taching though.

I may take it back to how it was when I got it, just to see how fast it really was...
