Chrome Plastic

Chrome Plastic
When chroming plastic parts, personally debated about:
1) Bare Metal Chrome Foil
2) "Spray" Chrome
3) Vacuum Metalizing plastic.
Finally decided upon Vacuum Metalizing of original Wen Mac Black '57 chrome parts. My original Metalizer shut down after 30 years in the business. The company I tried next did a great job of chroming the original parts and were back within 2 weeks. Expensive when compared with the first two routes? Sure, but you get what you pay for and the results were first class.
Hope this helps others when trying to decide which way to go with the restoration process of chroming.
