Fredvon4 is Awesome
I'm assigned here in Korea. I keep myself active by working planes and all sorts of engines that I've tried to keep alive for over 40 years. I got talking with Fredvon4 about some Texaco motors and their props and some settings etc. He gave some excellent suggestions. I used them among a few other suggestions. The motors are running great now.
Well this morning March 4th 2019 on a cold winter day in Korea a box showed up here full of awesome parts and desperate supplies and even several motors. I am really speechless and deeply appreciative of Fredvon4. He is truly a great help and deserves much commendation. Great help and kindness.
Thanks very very much from Korea Fred!!

So, Fred's at it again. What an incredibly generous person you are Fred. So many have been so encouraged by your gifts that it must make a huge difference to the future of our hobby. We'll never know what a huge effect you've had on not only the hobby but the lives of the people who take part in it.
Well done I say

In my youth and later as a aged KID a LOT of people gifted me all sorts of STUFF

Yes he is! I got a goody box from him a couple of weeks ago. Some fine thread NVs for my new 1/2A models and a couple of Max-S .35s for my yet-to-be-built Sterling Mustang and Flite Streak. Fred, I hope you got my PM. I certainly appreciate the care package.Oldenginerod wrote:...So, Fred's at it again. ...

It's nice to know that guys like Fred are out there. I have had a flying friend who has done the same to me and I'm just fortunate that he's done that. Nicely done Fred. Ken
