Saw those,
Bernie says they made 258...... So why are the serial numbers in the 5000 range?

The "5" was on all the engines. It was to indicate they were .051's.

HHMMMMMM
Well Keith Bernie will be selling a nib one with papers for 795.

Re: A pair of sequentially numbered Medallion .051 on ebay
I did sell mine for $795 in the meantime. Waiting for payment but still...
I think the seller of the twins will be in for a bit of a surprise.
First, no boxes/paperwork
Second, selling 2 at a time
Third, relative low FB score
Fourth, and most important, USA only
I may be severly mistaken but would not be surprised if bidding does not hit reserve. I mean, I wish the seller well and hope they go for huge $$'s (helps my sales) and at least he put in a reserve that he sees as adequate.

There ya go,,dive on it!! I would have no problems with that purchase, but it's not for me. I would want to run it, but a very limited numbered motor as that with papers/boxes, ect, it would be tought to put fuel thru it and a glow clip on top.
Edited: one that got away.

If I were to get one I would make a box for it though!
Not to pass as nib but to look good on my shelf
Or if they go low I would run it.
Re: A pair of sequentially numbered Medallion .051 on ebay

Cardboard insert only (no black glossy insert).
Instructionss for 051 Medallion with throttle.

Re: A pair of sequentially numbered Medallion .051 on ebay
I'm looking for a good deal on a Medallion, that's how I found it. But I need one to fly rather than a collectors' item.
