I reluctantly confess, I was the offender who splurged on the .010 cyl. assy. It was the first one I ever saw available on the bay and wow did I let myself go with that bid. Worse still, none of my .010's even needed a new cyl. assembly! Not like me at all, i'm usually so frugal!

Just bought on ebay a new 051 stepped wall TD cylinder plus piston for 40 bucks...functionally équivalent, converted 049 TD cylinder and piston sets are sold by Bernie and Matt at around 15 bucks...why still at 40 from ebay?...the thrill of getting genuine old stock stuff...my weakness.. Very Happy

We had six unique bidders that we willing to pay between $30 and $44 (or more as we don't get to see the max bid of the winner). We did not expect this but nor did we expect an 010 cylinder/piston to go that crazy. Oh well, the winner will get a bunch of other 010 goodies included as we cannot in good conscience sell a set for that much money.

Thanks Bernie I am happy to have won that 051 c/p set..just wanted to second to Kim and others that I am as weak as others when it comes to buying COX merchandise in a competition. Very Happy

That 010 c/p set is also like a magnet and should I not have some spare 010 stuff (probably never to be used in my life) like that in my inventory I would have already entered the auction even at this crazy price level..

Yeah saw that but we typically sell them for $500 - $600 so would have to buy sub-$400 landed.
