Tip: Easy assembling 5 cc tanks
Aligning 5 cc backplate screws is somewhat hard work while assembly. I have a tip for this. Buy four long 1" 8 cc tank screws and cut their heads with cutting disc. Screw them on crankcase lightly with hand and mount gasket, tank and backplate on this jig. Then unscrew one of these and screw the 5 cc tank with 3/4" screw. Then unscrew the second one, so on.

I never found it hard.
Assemble the crankcase, set aside.
Assemble reed assembly, venturi gasket, fuel pickup, etc.
Apply aluminum safe sealant to tank groove and clean excess.
Feed bolt through one backplate hole, into tank. Install gasket. Verify alignment.
Assemble to crankcase lightly.
Install other 3 screws.
