Cox Engine of The Month
RC Japan. Anyone ordered?

RC Japan. Anyone ordered?
I just purchased two packets of genuine OS 2.6mm socket head screws from RC JAPAN. They carry a large range of sizes and are priced very reasonably. Got 10x M2.6X7mm and 10x M2.6X10mm. I could have purchased a little cheaper but I chose to trust the high quality of genuine OS parts. https://www.rcjapan.net/ Now to get my MAX .15 back together!!

Total cost was 1,533 Yen delivered. That's about $18 AU or $14 US. I suspect these sort of parts are easier to track down in the US but here, suppliers are few and far between. Plus way expensive compared to this purchase.
I asked my local bolt supplier about M2.6 screws. He just laughed and wouldn't believe they existed.

In the US, M2.6 is relatively easy to source. Mcmaster, Microfastener, etc. M2.6 is specific to very few industries.

A link to a UK eBay seller;
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/CAP-BOLT-M2-6-X-8-10/152736051113?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20170831090034%26meid%3D9e8b5a89b0414165b5eda5159a7ccb0c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D152736049012%26itm%3D152736051113&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
But Rod's link is very useful. I have 2 such bolts missing on the water jacket of my OS 30 and 2 others have the phillips cross rounded.

Figure a little less than 1 USD = 100 JPY (today 1 USD = 107 JPY).
So, say an Enya engine is priced at 16,000 JPY - is roughly $160. ($150 actual).

Re: RC Japan. Anyone ordered?
I thought RCJapan was a good deal. Shipping on one item is stiff, but on a box of stuff it was ok. Some of my stuff was backordered so I had a slow experience.
