Absolutely top notch rescue-repair work. The only thing I saw that might give you trouble is the little kink in the radius of the reed retainer clip. If your reed doesn't meter properly, that will be highly likely cause.
BTW, don't toss the old fuel pick up hose. Soak it in solvent and carefully extract and clean the spring inside of it. I have rescued many that others would just toss.

Re: Old Babe Bee acquisition -need some help
After a long winter and shi##@ (rainy) spring , i have found some time to test again my COX Babe Bee.
All the poor run from the past seasson, was mostly due the old, poluted fuel.
So, new mix with 5% Nitro, and modified Babe Bee to external tank fuel supply, was tested today.
Same time, do test run with Cox Sure Start on my profile CL KRAGUJ.
Flying seasson 2019. can start, now.

RE: Old Baby Bee acquisition
Pegin964,
To go off topic a bit, I'm not sure how the relations are between ex. Yugoslavian country men , but there is a YouTube channel by Robert Petrincic (can't add the pronunciation marks on last three letters) that features really well educated model airplane and engine enthusiasts that is a real hoot to watch from Slovenia.
Captain Robert and his younger brother, Captain Blaz really produce educational and funny videos with a lot of flying and building with some added Slovenian military humor.
FWIW, Steve....

@ ticomareado
Koshava ( strong SE wind ) is kinder this year only 'cause the rainy days and weeks this spring.
@66 Malibu
Yeah, follow Petrincic Bro's chanell, quite inspiring. And no real life problems at ex Yugo region, especialy in modellers brotherhood. Regional contests and modelling shows are as always, great and fun.

You think nitro is expensive and hard to get here in Amurika ? Try Europe.

Just because i use same fuel that day for testing OS MAX , which i do not want to run on higher nitro, i'm just sport flyer, and no rush for high output, just easy start and reliable run.getback wrote:Hey man the engine runs sound much better , if i may ask why are you running only 5% Nitro ? the plane looks good ready for some air , hope the weather holds out for ya .
As Ticomaredo point, obtaining Pro Analysi quality Nitro in Europe , its like serching for Unobtanium.
Plenty of ready mixed racing fuel available, 5-15-15-20% Nitro, but all full synthetic, pretty useless.
