All about your transportation
Hello All,
I am wondering what kind of transportation you guys (and girl(s)) all own. I love cars, bikes, boats and planes. especially the American ones.
So please share what you own.
I got a car: A 2010 Renault Clio 1.2 TCE (100bhp)
And I also own a moppet, a 50cc Honda Zoomer 4 valve with injection:
.
I use to own a small console boat. However i sold it this year cause I did not had time to use it a lot. But I sure love sailing.

Love your american (ex) cars. especially the SS!
See you have an open air filter on the mazda. Would sure give a nice sound, but doesn't it slow it down bye suckin in hot air from the engine?

No air filter means you're sucking bugs and road grit too.

I had a 66 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible a life time ago and it had Crager SS Mags. I thought they were the coolest wheels ever.

"Pop Rivets and Prayers" ! My Easy Riser Ultralight, built over a three year period in various basements, garages, and backyards all around my home turf (I moved a lot back then!).
Still have it's carcass, probably scrap it out at some point, but there was a time when it WAS my dream machine. When it worked, it was the best flying I've ever done. When I finally started taking "legitimate" flying lessons, I'd already logged 8 forced landings due to to engine failures, so I didn't have the newbie's fear of an engine quitting...I was surprised if it didn't !

Re: All about your transportation
Dave, that red thing on the end... that's a K&N washable air filter made for such an environment.
Mr. Cox, the filter is positioned over a 7" hole leading down to the underside of the splash panel. Outside air blows up through this. And I repositioned the coolant reservoir away from the filter. It used to sit over the hole. This is a short Ram intake (SRI). Some like to use a cold air intake(CAI) which pipes through the aforementioned hole and positions the filter down closer to the bottom. Colder air, more dirt and worst of all, more water.
On the white Camaro I had a cool can that I packed with dry ice with a 6' coil of aluminum fuel line through it. The goofy snorkel on the hood provided plenty of cold air

A '66 Fury eh, pretty hot. I built a 440 engine for my friends '67 Barracuda. That is the most massive hunk of iron I ever saw. Made my 396 look like a smallblock.

On the right car, Keystone Classics were realy sharp, but the Cragers definitly ruled.
I never, never see either wheel on the street anymore. Where'd they all go?

A guy with a Duster twisted the center out of a Keystone one night.
I sold my 4 centerlines to a fellow patient at the dialysis clinic one day for $75 and he died the next week!

WOW '69 Hemi Cuda. That's some car. They used to whistle coming down the road. I think it was the grille or something. I think they had that pistol grip shifter handle.

My hunk of junk that I drive on the nice days. 56 chevy 2 door. Narrowed Ford 9 with a Strange engineering posi and axles 3.73 gears. Caltrac traction system. Custom made Rally wheels to clear the 4 wheel disk brakes. A 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson drag radial on there,,just barely. A little warmed up 406 SBC with Dart Iron eagle heads(2.06 in), Holley Super victor intake. Custom 830 double pump carb. shaft mount rocker arms by Jesel valvetrain. Ultra secret camshaft,,lol. a Edelbrock Plate nitrous system blueprinted and flow checked by Steve Johnson for a little extra fun. Built up Turbo 350 trans to handle it all. Up until 2006 when it was aquired, a pilot from McCord AFB up the road was daily driving it. Dug threw it and found a few reciepts from Bogota, Columbia,,,Hmmm
Everyeone keeps telling me to not paint it,,leave it rat rod. I dunno
