Re: RknRusty - StillBurnin - Okay, we have a plan!
It wasn't "going under" that bothered me, it was the "coming out."
Only twice in my life have I required surgery, once at four years old when I was run over by a car, don't remember much about that one. But when I smashed my lower leg at the ankle while falling off a ladder at around 60, I couldn't wait to be "put to sleep". It was the coming out that bothered me. Mechanical sounds like man-hole covers being dropped followed by my wife looking down at me. A truly beautiful sight! I wanted to say where the H am I? but wound up with "I'm here, there, and everywhere."
Altogether not a bad experience, and everything worked out fine. Still climbing ladders and taking chances.
Hang in there Rusty.
