Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
Ringmaster S-1 is a profile fuse. oZ has lots of good stuff, but not this one.
I think the Super Ringmaster is a full body fuse.
ya can buy a new one here:
http://www.msmplanes.com/super-ringmaster/
But, your just looking for instructions,
Maybe some one who's built one can help you out.
HHAA, found this in a Google search. Is Gus Ia still around?

Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
I need it for a friend who is building one for the Flyathon. He is tracing parts from an original kit, but it came without instructions.

Phil, would you mind sending a PDF over to those fine folks at Outerzone?
" send it to admin@outerzone.co.uk. ". Then anyone who needs one can get it.

Yo Ron,
If you'd want to make a full-size copy, let me know and I'll lend you the sheet from my kit so you can 'Kinko' it.

Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
Like RonC I am always amazed that the Brother Hood of The Ring....a Matt Kania* designed and Sterling kitted Ring Master dedicated forum does not have every old variant of the early kits on file
I get it that the specialty RMs from various guys like Pat King or Pat Johnston are not open source except the few they did share...
BUT I would have thought a stickey with "Here is the year, kit, and variations of all the OTC Ringmasters" listing and link to the PDF (if there is one)
*Designs Kitted by Sterling Models Philadelphia, Pa.:
1950 - Designed the worlds most populous Profile Control Line Stunt Model (Ringmaster)
1953-58 - Designed F-51 Mustang, semi scale profile
• Yak-9, semi scale profile
• Ringmaster Jr., Class A-Profile
• Super Ringmaster, Built up Fuselage model
• Baby Ringmaster, Profile model
• Space Kaydet, Fuselage Class A

Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
I never did like that RM version just cuz full fuselage models are NOT my forte...( if I even had/have a forte)
BUT while it is very fiddly--- I do like that canopy/cockpit....just looks cool to me..... My dad hated it, mostly because he and I ( age 6 or 7) botched the job of getting the plastic sheet to fit

I sent a copy to outerzone, they replied that it will be a few weeks before it gets posted. Volunteer backlog thing.

It flies much better than the S-1. I'm currently working on a Ringmaster Flash. That's one you don't see often.

I'm quite fond of the Ringmaster Sportster. I've heard it doesn't fly all that well unfortunately.

Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
Yo Ron,
Not sure if mentioned this before, but if your friend is still looking for a Super Ringmaster instruction sheet, I have a heavily scavenged kit, given to me years ago.
There are a few parts left with a very brittle instruction sheet. If he (or you) would like it, I'll pack it and wrap it and see what the Post Office charges to send it.

Re: Super Ringmaster instruction sheet
Ron, the Ringmaster Sportster is a neat plane. My friend Dennis had one which I believe was given to Pat King. Dennis gave quite a few of his nicely built planes to Pat and they were given out as awards at contests. I like the fact the engine was mounted profile in a full body. Like the Ringmaster Flash, it's one of the few variants that doesn't use the Ring tail. Ken
