The Black Lynx arrives

The Black Lynx arrives
Thanks Matt of EX Model Engines!! The engine may have arrived yesterday.. but I hadn't checked the mail until today. Included is a 5 x 3 propeller, instructions for use and two cool "EX Model Engines" stickers!
This made my day! Thanks again to Matt for the engine-donation and also to Jacob (admin) for conducting the CEF "Engine of the Month contests!

NICE!
That is one hot little engine! Can't wait to see how you put it to use.

Re: The Black Lynx arrives
Beautiful Roddie engine .... I hope you enjoy it very much and if at any moment you start it to tell us your experiences with this engine.
I tell you something I would do, I would remove the starter spring, that way it would not damage the black anodizing of the starter, start well to finger (without spring). It's a way to use it, enjoy it and keep it original!
I would leave the spring just in case you enjoy it as a piece of collection!
