Re: Funny picture...
Haha, that is funny. Whoever gave you a reddie for that might as well give me one too. Obviously someone who's never used a Northern Velocity marvel of small model engines. It can't be denied. The same picture could be labeled with a Tee Dee on the happy baby on the left, and a Bee on the right.

I haven't fired up my Norvel, yet. But, when I do, I am looking forward to that same happy face!!
Thanks for posting the picture.

Funny,
Each engine has their place and both are very good for the times they were made in. No reason to not like both.
This is a Cox forum though so I imagine someone didn't find it humerous.

Re: Funny picture...
i can't see somebody going 'red' on you for that post???? I did give you a 'greenie' to offset it, but it didn't chance the percent of red?
Re: Funny picture...

The screenshot you show is when you go into the edit or post function. The x I am referring to appears once the post has been posted.

Re: Funny picture...
How dare you for posting something like this on these forums. I didn't find this funny at all... I didn't give you the red, but I don't blame the individual who did.
LOL, just kidding. It is funny and true in a sense.

Re: Funny picture...
lol, ok, that would explain why i couldn't see it...didn't we have that option at one time???
Re: Funny picture...
I'm sorry if I hurt someones feelings, but I'm glad to see that most appreciate some humor too.
I guess those that do feel hurt can always reverse the t-shirt prints in photoshop, or perhaps putting TD on one and Babe Bee on the other one would be more pleasing/suitable.

I am glad I came back and re-read this a second time..I have been stewing for several hours
I though OP photo was funny...then all the deal with the Red vote crap
Then I read Admin's post.... I guess my browser was still filling the page cuz, I did NOT see the follow on ----"LOL Just Kidding......" or maybe it was there but lower on my page.....
Damn! I was POed at Admin
Super glad I went on to another topic
Cuz I nearly gave him a big Fat RED...
Something I have NEVER done on this site...even with the few, gone now, butt heads that were briefly here

I think we could re-label those babies with: K&B - Enya, Fox-OS or even Ford- Chevy.

Re: Funny picture...
My first Norvel, a Big Mig .061, made me cuss the first time I tried to crank it.But after I put a Cox head on it and a couple of shims, it cranked right up. After that tank of fuel, I went back to the Norvel head and never went back. Its first flight was the maiden flight of the Refried Bean. They have a really tight pinch at the top of the stroke, so try to resist flipping it through TDC cold until after it's broken in. And don't follow the break-in instruction at nvengines.com. Come here and ask when you're ready.Marleysky wrote:I haven't fired up my Norvel, yet. But, when I do, I am looking forward to that same happy face!!
