Re: Joe Cecere
There is no way to describe the pain experienced by family and friends at the loss of a loved one. I lost my wife two years ago this morning and lit a candle for her. Maybe a small part of that flame will burn for Joe also.

I traded with Joe quite a few times and, although I may not have known him well, I am saddened to hear of his departure.

Re: Joe Cecere
I never met Joe, but I feel I knew him a bit.
When I joined CEF there were only 14 other members
and Joe was one of them. Always got a warm feel from
him through his PMs and posts.
Sad day indeed.

Re: Joe Cecere
Sad to hear of Jazz Mans passing, Ive been dealing with some life threatening issues lately but still hanging in there.
I told my wife if I pass on to box up all my Cox stuff and send it to Jacob and CEF, you all will know what to do with it!!

So sad to hear of Joe's passing. We had a lot of trades and I even fixed up a few of his Cox engines for him. He always managed to find some rare Cox items. R.I.P Joe.

Re: Joe Cecere
I didn't really know Joe at all. Never had the pleasure of having any trades with him. I've learned a lot about Joe.. and his character; through all of your kind words for him, in the last few hours.
I keep folders for many CEF members... with photos (mostly) of their experiences, or something they posted that "struck a nerve" with me. Joe's folder had only one item.. a photo of "him".
God forgive me if this is inappropriate.. but I will always remember "Joe" from this one photo that I have of him.

RE: Joe Cecere
Have had sad feelings for Joe since his passing away was announced a couple of days..
Never know what to do or say when people your have contact with are gone.
I read his posts on CEF every time and have bought from his "Jazzmanstuff" eBay site a time or two.
Our prayers are for him and his family during this tough time.
Rest in Peace Man.................

Re: Joe Cecere
Like most of you, i got to know Joe a number of years ago thru this group (or maybe the 049 collectors, not sure) often trading pm's on what was what, but it wasn't until recently we started (lol) talking politics, Joe leaned heavy to the left and i think we both enjoyed the other guys opinion and/or the debate. We were the same age and i think he would of been one of those cool guys you'd want to hang out with back in the day!

Very Sorry to hear about Joe - he will be missed by many in the aero modelling community - RIP
Re: Joe Cecere
The internet and it's various avenues catch a lot of flack (many times rightfully so), but I have often defended Facebook and others with saying that it's simply what you make it---or allow it to be.
There is NO way we could have all gotten together and shared our adventures and 'friendships' any other way, and I am thankful for chance to exchange stories and ideas with guys like Joe.
It's a bit weird to have 'friends' you've never met, but it still lands hard when you hear about one of them passing on.
I'm glad for all my contacts and exchanges with Joe, and hope the best for his family.

lol, i guess it's a 21st century thing...many times during a 'live' conversation i'll mention 'internet buddy' and people seem to know what i'm referring to.
