I don't think I've posted this before....maybe a nice electric flyer for the local gym. Of course, you may have to explain to that you INTEND just to cruise along less than an inch off the floor !!!

@Kim, you posted this 5 years ago, I am surprised that no one ever replied to it. I remember the Pond Skimmer from high school. I had bought that very same magazine issue, can't remember exactly where, probably from the Navy Exchange at Barbers Point Naval Air Station about a 25 minute drive from our home in Nanakuli on Oahu. Now, I believe that it is (or was 20 years ago) an inactive reserve base.
I had wanted to build an example, but never got around to doing it. Nowadays, one could make it a small electric or upsize it for quarter or half A power. Change the fuselage to something more sinister looking, call it a "stealth".
