Thinking Decima---- Brrrrr!

I enjoyed about a year ago a thread

https://www.coxengineforum.com/t9139p100-how-s-the-weather

Took me  a bit to find it and re read

This prompted because Yesterday I had to do a ton of outside work in 83F temp to get ready for our first significant Artic dump this far south

4 Pm all done was 81F
By 7PM was 45F
By 10 Pm was 28F
This AM and now is 22F

WX channel is calling this storm Decima.... I must have been under a rock now for half decade as I  was not aware of winter storm naming until I just looked it up

We have a talk radio station I some times listen to from Austin Texas our capitol. There is a late afternoon host who sarcastically makes fun of the locals during these events each year

Short quips like: " Update! Update! Killer Blizzard 2015 update!  WalMart still has 6 AAA batteries on Isle 6.... remember it will be cold tonight, and there is no more water to be bought...but try to relax.... it might get back up to 56F by 9AM tomorrow"...

I usually laugh my butt off as Jeff Ward tries to poke fun at the weather news and the severe over reaction of many locals
