It is real, I believe there's a thread on RCG (or some other site) that covers it more in detail. It's come up a number of times on here.
Now, the giant Tee Dee isn't real...if you come across that pic somewhere.

Yes, the giant Babe Bee was made by a guy in Germany (http://kleinstdiesel.de/index.html), he also did a few diesel conversions of the TD .020 and possibly the .010;
Now, how does one find the correct fuel-line to put over this needle?
