I'm assuming these are faked photos? the big TD looks slightly suspicious to me, just where the hands are holding it

Re: Found! Previously unknown TD!
it's a photochop. The amt of sun hitting the guy would make the aluminum on the motor glint.

Re: Found! Previously unknown TD!
You should really take a look at the reset tool for that.

Re: Found! Previously unknown TD!
That is easily do able in photo shop.
But look at the hand on the spinner that does look a bit odd.
Who is the guy holding it?
With a name I can probably contact him

Re: Found! Previously unknown TD!
Fwiw, the cylinder shadow should be on his left shoulder,
considdering the shadow from his nose.
The shadow shown is a photo-edit job.

This picture creeps me out though, especially since it's real.

When you consider the amount of work, skill, machine tools, casting facilities, etc. etc. needed to produce this, the question that springs to my mind is...why????

Ah yes, buy it, OK, but why put all that effort into something that's simply an amusing oddity? If it was possible to run it, what would they use for a glowhead? produce your own platinum coils?
