Scrounging parts to make one at my home flying field.webed base data can be seen on my computer or I phone anywhere I happen to be

Re: Weather Staition
That's really sweet! Made from special parts and pieces? Or stuff left over from other projects? Not that I'm computer savy, but what transmits the data from the outdoor unit to the computer. Like the kids say...oh there's an app for that?

I too am a weather nut, and ham radio operator, and RC club member (sort of) and it took us years how to figure a WX station at the field (no internet) that was view-able on the club web site.... eventually a 4G-LTE signal became common at the (out in the sticks) airfield and we bought a stupid cheap Metro Pcs phone and a year of service for a Price we could afford and linked the solar powered WX station and Phone to the web.....
So I too am interested in the components of your WX and prices as some of these (Oregon Scientific/ Lacross, Acurite etc) can be a bit pricey
